These mission and vision guide our responses and intervention in thematic areas of Nutrition, protection, Education, early recovery and livelihood and food security.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.)?GBV Case Management Officer

  • The GBV case management officer will provide regular supervision to case workers and ensure staff correctly document cases in GBVIMS+, and ensure that they follow the steps involved in case management, document the action plan and work with survivor to implement plan as well as follow up with them to ensure developed plans.
  • He/she lead in case management review meetings/conferences.
  • Manage database of documented case, and use GBVIMS incident recorder to analyze cases documented for weekly, monthly and quarterly statistics as required by the Project manager.
  • Provide capacity-building trainings to case workers and volunteers to build their capacity in program related areas to increase quality in service delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide regular supervision to case workers Assistants and make sure that staff correctly document cases in GBVIMS+ and ensure that they follow the steps involved in case management, document the action plan and work with survivor to implement plan as well as Follow-up with them to ensure developed plans are implemented accordingly.
  • Participate actively in GBV sub sector working group
  • Lead in Case Management review meetings/conferences.
  • Ensure case management steps are followed, referrals and documentation are happening in an appropriately and timely manner.
  • Maintain files on all GBV documented cases and follow-ups in all operational areas.
  • Regularly update documentation and maintain database for all documented cases, plan of action and follow-ups visits using the GBVIMS.
  • Conduct regular meetings with caseworkers for debriefing and provide support as may be needed.
  • Manage Database of documented cases: to include statistics, and all other relevant information.
  • Use the GBVIMS Incident Recorder to analyze cases documented for weekly, monthly and quarterly statistics as required by project Manager / Coordinator for internal and donor reporting in a timely manner.
  • Actively develop and maintain effective working relationships with case management actors in the field, including government actors, UN agencies, NGOs, and other relevant actors.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports of response activities to the Project Manager.
  • Update the service mapping as well as ensure that referral pathway at the state level is solidified
  • Identify and provide capacity building training for cases management team.

Experience and Technical Competencies

  • 2-5 years of experience as a case worker
  • Knows how to operate GBVIMS+
  • Can be able to speak English and Hausa. Kanuri and Shuwa is an added advantage.
  • Experience working with survivors of GBV
  • Previous training/experience in GBV Case Management and programming.
  • Some experience with report writing
  • Outstanding surveillance and observation skills
  • 2 years of experience in surveillance system
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct
  • Practice self-care

2.)?GBV Assistant

Job Summary

  • The GBV Assistant will provide day to day management of GBV prevention related activities in Borno
  • The holder of the position will work under the overall supervision of the GBV Project Officer.
  • The GBV Assistant, will coordinate, manage & supervise the direct implementation of community based GBV Prevention and Women & Girls Safe Spaces activities.
  • S/he will work with a team of GBV community volunteers, GBV case worker and PSS staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • At least 2 years? experience in protection work supervisory responsibilities over national staff, program development, planning and implementation.
  • Must have in-depth technical expertise on Protection, Women and Girls? safe spaces programming and Gender Based Violence related issues including having a clear understanding of gender inequality, and issues surrounding discrimination and violence against women and girls
  • Must have experience with operationalizing GBV principles.
  • Proficient in community mobilization, challenging social norms/relations and Behavior Change Communication.
  • Proven record of providing trainings and workshops on gender and GBV, SRH, topics in a variety of settings.
  • Excellent Analytical, Communication and Report writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish effective working relations with local staff, beneficiaries, duty bearers and other stakeholders
  • Disciplined, organized, respect for deadlines, adaptation in a multicultural working environment.

Experience and Technical Competencies

  • 2-3 years of experience as a case worker

3.)?CRM / AAP Assistant

Job Summary

  • The CRM/AAP Assistant will provide support to the implementation, monitoring and accountability of FRAD Foundation Multi-Sectoral Programs in Borno across different donor funded interventions.
  • He/She will be responsible for ensuring Community Based Feedback and Response Mechanisms are in place in all FRAD Foundation program implementation sites to strengthen the quality and accountability of response as well as upholding the organization?s commitment towards Accountability to affected population standards especially in regards to information sharing, beneficiaries? participation, complaints and response mechanism.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the MEAL Manager, The candidate will

  • Will manage the registration of complaints received by beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries at distribution point and community outreach activities.
  • The position will be responsible of answering calls coming from FRAD toll free line.
  • Attend and collect all complaints from beneficiaries, ensure feedbacks are given to beneficiaries in good time.
  • Ensure toll free lines are active.
  • To assist the M&E Officer in working with program staff and beneficiaries to develop structure and methods for managing the complaints and feedback in the field as well as maintaining the integrity of information received.
  • This role will also involve management of CRM database by ensuring proper documentation and aggregation of CRM data including complaints received, investigated and responded to as well as providing detailed summaries of complaints issues to feedback to the program team during monthly and quarterly meetings/reports.
  • The post holder with support from the M&E Manager will ensure the collection of quality complain and feedback across the response.
  • The post holder will interface and support programme team members, support programme coordination and policy engagement.
  • Be in charge of providing feedback to the complainants when complaints are resolved
  • Ensure beneficiaries are treated with respect and dignity ensure the application of FRAD?s PSEA, Code of Ethics and Conduct, child safeguarding.

Experience and Technical Competencies

  • Minimum of 1 year proven experience in accountability especially feedback mechanisms concepts and international humanitarian quality standards.
  • Previous experience of working with NGOs.
  • Experience in implementation of accountability and complaints reporting mechanisms in humanitarian emergencies.
  • Experience in developing and/or managing complaints reporting mechanisms.
  • Understand key concepts and commitments regarding accountability to affected populations (AAP), including Strong understanding of HAP, Do No Harm and other relevant global standards.
  • Ethical, focused on treating complainants/community fairly and culturally sensitive.
  • Building collaborative relationships with beneficiaries and the community.
  • Proficiency is key English, Hausa and Kanuri languages both spoken and written.
