Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Nationwide Police Constable Recruitment 2023

The Police Service Commission (PSC) in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) is inviting applications from eligible Nigerians for the position of Police Constable (Recruits) for the year 2023.

Position: Police Constable (Recruits)
Location: Nationwide, Nigeria

Eligibility Criteria:

• Proof of Nigerian origin (Birth Certificates / Declaration of Age).
• Medical fitness certificate from a recognized government hospital.
• Character reference from the applicant’s village/district head.
• Indigene Certificate endorsed by Local Government Chairman or Secretary.
• Guarantor Form validated by a Public Servant (minimum rank of GL13), a Police Officer (minimum rank of CSP), or an equivalent rank from the Armed Forces or other Paramilitary services.

Online Application Requirements:

• Nigerian citizenship by birth and possession of the National Identification Number (NIN).
• Minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/NECO or equivalent with English and Mathematics.
• Age between 18-25 years.
• Height requirement: Minimum 1.67m for males and 1.64m for females.
• For males: Minimum chest measurement of 86cm (34 inches).
• Females should not be pregnant during the application period.
• Valid email address and phone number.
• SSCE results or certificates from before 2015 will not be accepted.
• No financial liabilities or criminal convictions.
• Scanned copies of SSCE, Birth, and Certificates of Origin are required.

Further Information:

• Completed online forms and guarantor forms must be printed and presented during physical/credentials screening at designated centers.
• Automated Physical/Credentials Screening will be conducted nationwide on a specified date.
• Successful candidates will undergo an Aptitude Test (Computer-Based).
• Medical screening will be automated and conducted at the 17 Police Zonal Medical Centers.
• Training will combine academic and physical exercises, leading to employment as Police Constables (PC).
