2.)?Bids and Proposal Manager

Our team needs a skilled Bid and Proposal Manager. As a bid and proposal manager, you will identify bid submission opportunities, create bid-winning strategies, conduct research, develop and submit technical and commercial bids and proposals, negotiate with stakeholders, lead procurement activities as needed, and collaborate with other team members to ensure bid success. You must write convincing proposals within budget and time.
Candidates should comprehend the upstream oil and gas business, be technically proficient, and negotiate with stakeholders.
Job duties

Find bid submission opportunities
Submit competitive technical and commercial offers
Research and brainstorm bid highlights.
Strategically source bid support
Create convincing, thorough proposals
Assess risks and address concerns.
Meet all bid deadlines Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
Track expenses and budgets.
Cooperate with project managers and executives.
Hold team briefings after winning bids.
Check RFQ/RFP from current or future clients and prioritise assignments.
Establish bid strategy and preparation guidelines with sales managers, technical consultants, and operations in bid overview meetings.
Maintain supplier and partner contracts and renewals.
Manage internal and external communication to ensure daily activities and assignments are completed on schedule.
Track all supplier/vendor orders to satisfy delivery schedules, improve margin, and meet the company’s profit strategy.
Competitive pricing and contract negotiations for commercial gain.
Help the finance department with invoicing to avoid customer payment delays.
Manage procurement.
Qualifications for the job
Education:

A Bachelor of Engineering degree with a 2nd Class Upper is preferred. PMP certification is also useful.
Experience:

At least 5 years of relevant bids and tenders, project procurement, and contract execution experience in important industries, 2 of which must be management.
Expertise in preparing and presenting competitive and successful technical and commercial bids for upstream drilling, engineering, technical support, and other engineering services.
Long history of packaging NIPEX bids
Strong sourcing experience Knowledge:

Strong NUPRC, NIPEX, and NCDMB licencing and permitting knowledge
Bid, tender, procurement, and supply chain management qualifications are beneficial.
Excellent market understanding and trend-following
Excellent writing and speaking skills
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
Excellent presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Time-sensitive and meticulous
High level of detail Expertise in Microsoft Excel

Job Summary

Knowledgeable about NURPC, NIPEX, and NCDMB licencing and allowing.
Bid, tender, procurement, and supply chain management qualifications are beneficial.
Excellent industry knowledge and trend-following.
Excellent written and spoken skills.
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
Excellent presenting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
