Job Summary/Purpose

Student recruiting for academic programmes.
Duties and responsibilities
Learn each student’s needs and interests:

Maintain solid relations with potential students;
Engage with prospective students through questions and listening;
Learn about each student’s interests and needs;
Determine what each potential student needs, then customise your offer;
Phone calls, lead management, updates

First stop for admissions questions;
Call and follow up on any assigned leads;
Uses CRM to manage inquiries;
Maintain current lead statuses, notes, and personal details following every communication with potential students;
Respond to admissions inquiries within 24 hours working week;
Give admissions advice to make the encounter memorable:

Provide admissions guidance in a good, engaging manner;
Help applicants choose programmes by providing necessary information;
Ensure potential students have a memorable “Student Journey” from inquiry through enrollment;
Recruitment activities:

Help Event Coordinator, Business Development Associate, and Manager plan and organise Education Fairs, Open Days, and student recruitment fairs to recruit students;
Campus events and visits for student groups can increase university interest and enrollment;
Actively lead school visits, presentations, and off-campus participation to recruit and convert students.
Manage Applications:

Complete application and submit to Admissions Officer for processing and offers;
Follow up to clarify offers and convert offer holders immediately;
Help potential students navigate the admissions process and persuade them to register;
Use applicant pool analysis to manage the application pipeline and meet quality targets;
To optimise and manage candidate experiences and ensure conversion rate, use TAG CRM tools to communicate with inquiries and applicants;
Interview potential pupils as needed;
Provide effective face-to-face and email, newsletter, and social media support to overseas students and their parents, highlighting the importance of LUG experience and a LUG degree;
Conversion:

Maintain a focus on closing each pipeline stage to increase conversion;
Manage new inquiries and turn them into campus visits;
Conduct campus tours and information sessions for prospective students interested in university programmes;
Easy and effective application process to convert applications to enrollment;
Support student induction and orientation to start their ?Student Journey? well;
Ensure prospective Foundation and Undergraduate students receive necessary pre-arrival information to improve student experience;
Coordinate with Line Manager to create conversion plans to get candidates to accept offers;
Contact unresponsive leads at all levels of the pipeline to pique their interest;
Other tasks:

Promote the LUG brand and ensure compliance with regulatory organisations’ quality standards and assurance frameworks (e.g., NAB, BAC, TAG, LU).
Support the Business Development and Marketing & PR Teams with various responsibilities;
Work closely with colleagues in different University operations to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and intelligence sharing;
Review personal areas of responsibility to increase efficiency and effectiveness;
Performs other tasks as assigned.
Requirements for reporting

Send Line Manager monthly work plan.
Deliver weekly call centre and conversion report to Line Manager.
Report monthly call centre and conversion to Line Manager, addressing KPIs and performance assessment criteria.

Academic Credentials

Relevant Bachelor’s degree or similar experience required;
Sales, marketing, and customer service certifications;
Technical Skills: Required Knowledge and Experience:

Understanding higher education recruitment cycles;
Excellent grasp of the university’s programme portfolio and admissions;
Detailed knowledge of student recruitment procedures;
Understanding and managing cultural variations in student recruiting and marketing;
Business and finance education market awareness;
Strong desire to provide high-end services;
Sales, marketing, and customer service expertise;
Knowledge of sales/engagement/conversion methods;
Collaborative team player with multi-cultural organisation experience;
Organisational and planning skills needed:

Experience planning, prioritising, and scheduling daily, weekly, and monthly work independently and in teams, using resources efficiently and meeting deadlines;
Ability to create annual evidence-based operational recruitment plans and campaigns to support a strategy plan;
Project management expertise;
Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities with expertise managing many stakeholders;
Needs Communication Skills:

Excellent writing and oral communication abilities, particularly the capacity to negotiate and alter material that needs careful explanation or interpretation for varied audiences;
Strong influence and diplomatic communication skills within and abroad;
Ability to write reports;
Strong presentation abilities;
Excellent phone manners Proactive and problem-solving skills Required:

Experience employing initiative and ingenuity to handle predictable but non-routine challenges with practical and suitable solutions;
IT Skills Required:

Excellent MS Office skills
Skills with CRM databases and spreadsheets;
Good internet user;
