Area Sales Manager at Cam Diary Foods Limited
To assist us in launching our products into the retail market and developing both our brand and the loyalty of our customers, we are searching for a self-motivated individual who is committed to and enthusiastic about our mission, goals, and core values.
You will be in charge of business development, the gathering of new leads, the onboarding of B2B customers and the management of their relationships, as well as the recruitment and management of a sales staff in your region.
Duties and obligations
In your region of coverage, you are responsible for managing, inspiring, and motivating a high-performing team sales team that interacts directly with customers.
Conduct market and competitive analyses in order to locate and pursue new business possibilities.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the most important needs and expectations of the consumer
Establish brand-new connections with important customers and decision-makers working in the retail and HORECA channels.
Develop plans on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure that you regularly meet the goals that have been set.
Determine the demands of our customers and get their opinions in order to enhance the products and services we already offer.
Expand business chances by taking advantage of a variety of routes to the market, particularly in order to open up new channels. Manage important customer accounts in order to meet predetermined goals and expand the sales portfolio.
Maintain an up-to-date awareness of the competitive landscape and collect data about the market.
Make arrangements for calls or meetings with potential customers.
Please keep the Head of B2B Sales updated on your sales results on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Maintain a current awareness of new goods and services, as well as new pricing and payment options.
Create and maintain new relationships with business-to-business clients in your area of coverage.
Establish and carry out sales goals and quotas that are in line with the company’s overall objectives.
Make sure that all of the different SKUs and pack sizes continue to generate a profit.
Ensure that all assigned customer locations have a hundred percent supply of the product on the shelves.
Conduct research on the company by analysing information on customers and sales.
Conduct contract talks with consumers and determine a timetable for performance. Address and resolve problems and concerns raised by customers.
Develop your customer relationships by continually putting up solutions that are tailored to the requirements and goals of your clients.
Requirements Bare Minimums
A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university or college is required.
A minimum of five years’ experience working in a business-to-business sales job Experience managing a sales team An outstanding reputation in the industry An established network of relationships with business-to-business customers
Exceptional capabilities in both presentation and communication.
Superior abilities in both problem-solving and analysis are required.
Exhibit sound judgement in commercial matters.
Strong awareness of the landscapes of performance, data, and measurement, along with demonstrated experience in using data and trends to design winning strategies
Certificate of Professional Competence that is Appropriate for the Role
Certification in a time-management or productivity application (Microsoft or Google)
Certification for Excel at the Intermediate Level
At least two years’ worth of experience in a supervising role is required.
