Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Developing brand plans/strategies for the product range along with market penetration strategy, market research, competitor analysis and consumer insights.
  • Development of product brochures and other pharma promotional marketing materials aimed at healthcare providers and consumers.
  • Provide training, product knowledge, direction to the field sales team on all product aspects and on the correct and effective use of all marketing materials.
  • Develop strategies, marketing and sales plans, and promotional mix to meet product category objectives vis-?-vis healthcare providers and customer needs.
  • Deliver unique value product category propositions and business intelligence based on customer demand.
  • Responsible for managing and implementing marketing activities.
  • Monitor business performance and external environment to meet business objectives.
  • SWOT analysis of product line (strengths, weakness, opportunities, and threats) and guiding sales team to tap the opportunities and growth in the product sale.
  • Product forecasting, new product pipeline strategy, new product pre-launch, and launch strategy and post-launch, new initiatives for product growth strategy.

Qualification / Experience

  • University Degree in a related field (Health Sciences): Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pharmaceutics, Biology, Nursing.
  • At least three years of relevant working experience as a brand manager preferably in the pharmaceutical or cosmetics industry.
  • Highly creative and analytical with the ability to think out of the box.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Sales management and leadership skills.
  • Market research and intelligence to tap competitor analysis.
  • Advanced presentation and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work and liaise with cross-functional teams.

Job Title: Quality Control Executive

Locations:?Sagamu, Ogun and Lagos

Job Purpose

  • The role of the Quality Control Executive is to support the activities of the Laboratories, by undertaking physico-chemical testing of chemical and materials, method validation, and method development whilst providing leadership and direction to more junior staff.
  • The successful candidate will need to work effectively as part of a large and busy team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysis of samples e.g. over-the-counter medicines, antibiotics, and packing material using instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, Mid IR, UV spectroscopy, wet chemistry, and GC/LC-MS
  • Drafting analytical reports/methods and safety assessments
  • Running and interpreting analytical data for validation and quality control
  • Adhering and contributing to an effective quality system, ensuring work complies with ISO standards
  • Routine maintenance, daily performance checks and periodic calibration of equipment
  • Checking work of other Analysts
  • Day-to-day laboratory housekeeping
  • Leading projects and organising staff to ensure key performance indicators are met
  • Supporting general lab activities and delivery as required.

Knowledge, Experience, and Technical Skills

  • B.Sc or HND in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) or any Science related courses
  • A minimum of 5 years cognate experience as an In-process Quality Assurance Officer in a reputable Pharmaceuticals organization
  • High drive and interest in taking on new tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-organized and result oriented.
  • You will have a sound background in Chemistry, to at least degree level, with theoretical knowledge of HPLC, GC, IR, UV spectrometry and titration. Practical experience in the use of at least two of these techniques is desirable.
  • You will be a well-organized and self-motivated worker with a high degree of tenacity for solving technical problems.
  • Your practical work should be methodical, tidy, and accurate.
  • Your computing skills should include a familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • You should have good written and verbal communication skills, and will be expected to keep full and neat work records.
  • The laboratory is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 and a good understanding of the principles and operation of quality systems would be an advantage.
  • Keep a clear and organised bench, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work flexibly and be adaptable to change.
