Job Title: Retail Assistant – Clothing Sales

Responsibilities
Customer Assistance:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
• Provide product information, style advice, and assistance with garment fittings.
• Ensure a positive and personalized shopping experience.
• Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Handle exchanges and returns efficiently.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display.
• Monitor and restock clothing items to ensure availability on the sales floor.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Participate in creating eye-catching displays to highlight promotions and new arrivals.
• Ensure that the store layout promotes a seamless shopping experience.
• Keep the store clean and organized, including fitting rooms and display areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Stay informed about current fashion trends and product features.
• Provide customers with detailed information about materials, care instructions, and sizing.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
• Communicate effectively with other departments, such as stockroom and management. Qualifications:

Requrements

• • Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in clothing sales.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of fashion trends and a passion for clothing.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and use point-of-sale systems.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Salary

• N80,000 – N85,000 monthly.
