Front Desk Officer at Davina Hill Resort & Hotel
We are looking for a motivated and organised front desk officer to provide exceptional client service and streamline check-in and check-out.
They will take reservations, answer questions, and help with tasks to satisfy guests.
The Main Duties
Welcome guests and help with check-in/out
Make reservations and assign rooms
Answer hotel, amenities, and nearby attraction questions.
Help transfer and store luggage
Keep correct records and process payments
Address guest complaints promptly.
Clean and organise the front desk.
Help with mail and key management.
Always follow safety and security procedures.
High school diploma or similar
Prior hospitality or customer service experience desirable.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills – Strong organisational and attention to detail – Multitasking and efficient work in a fast-paced environment – Hotel reservation system knowledge and basic computer abilities
Proficient in accurate cash and credit card transactions, maintaining calmness under pressure, and handling sensitive situations diplomatically.
A fast-paced setting with regular guest interaction awaits the front desk officer.
As needed, they may work nights, weekends, and holidays.
It may demand long durations of standing.
