Job Description

  • Our client is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced professional as the Head of Trading. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the oil trading operations within the industry.
  • With a focus on maximizing profitability and efficiency, you will play a key role in driving the success of our Clients’ trading activities.
  • As the Head of Trading, you will be a critical member of the team, working closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Your deep understanding of the trading landscape within the Oil & Energy industry will be essential in providing strategic guidance and supporting decision-making processes.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and managing risk exposure.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all trading operations within the Oil & Energy industry.
  • Develop and implement trading strategies to maximize profitability and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new trading opportunities.
  • Monitor and manage trading positions, ensuring compliance with risk management guidelines.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize trading processes and procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Proven experience in trading within the Oil & Energy industry, preferably in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of trading platforms, financial instruments, and market dynamics.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to spot market trends and patterns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Sound decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements within the Oil & Energy industry.
