Position Description

  • The Human Resource Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the effective management of our school’s human capital.
  • This position is responsible for overseeing various HR functions to support the school’s mission and ensure a positive work environment.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:?Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs, manage the recruitment process, conduct interviews, and facilitate the onboarding of new employees.
  • HR Policies and Compliance:?Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Employee Relations:?Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, address concerns, and facilitate conflict resolution as needed to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Performance Management:?Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems, including goal setting and performance improvement plans.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs, coordinate training programs, and support employee development initiatives.
  • Benefits Administration:?Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
  • Records and Documentation:?Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation, including contracts and personnel files.
  • HR Reporting:?Generate HR reports and metrics to support decision-making and provide insights into HR trends.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources management.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior experience in an educational setting is a plus.
