Join our Marine & Offshore organisation as Invoicing & Credit Collection Officer for a unique opportunity. Position is in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Send monthly invoices and statements to customers. Company invoicing software permits contract updates and customer account creation. Communicating with clients about invoice, payment, etc. discrepancies Verifying data input to verify bill correctness Create monthly revenue report Helping accountants, invoicing supervisors, bookkeepers, and other financial professionals Telling the finance staff about problems Find debtor customers Track and contact debtors to encourage repayment. Answer customer enquiries, concerns, and questions Develop and execute debt collection plans Talk to debtors about payment plans. Investigate discrepancies to settle customer accounts. Maintains correct and current client open accounts. Identifies credit hold and lift reasons May perform other collection and administration tasks as needed. Keeping management informed about client payment risks
Bachelor of commerce degree preferred. Minimum 3 years corporate experience Proficiency in English and advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Effective communication
