  • We are seeking a Deputy Head, HEMM Maintenance to join her team. As the Deputy Head, HEMM Maintenance, you will play a crucial role in the cement manufacturing industry, ensuring the effective maintenance of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM).
  • You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations, optimizing equipment performance, and ensuring the efficient execution of the maintenance strategies.
  • Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures, as well as the training and development of the maintenance team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance operations of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM)
  • Optimize equipment performance by developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans
  • Execute maintenance strategies to minimize equipment downtime and maximize productivity
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and plan equipment maintenance activities
  • Develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and standards
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Train and mentor the maintenance team to enhance their technical skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 21 years’ experience in managing the maintenance and operations of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM)
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and industry standards
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance software systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in the construction industry
