Junior Accountant at HMD Nigeria
A Basic Duty
The position does accounting and financial work under executive direction using International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and Nigerian accounting standards.

Accountability scope:
Maintains VAT invoices for parts sales and servicing for auditing.
Guarantees servicing and portion payments.
Main Duties
The following are some duties:
Job closure by converting delivery to invoice for services and counter sales daily or weekly for head office and FTZ aftersales.
Writing VAT invoices for all aftersales customers who use our services within the month.
Create all aftersales client balances for aftersales receivables.
Follows up with customers and presents credit sales cheques to the bank.
Prepare monthly customer and brand sales reports and aftersales expenses.
Payment collection for aftersales credit customers.
Ensure all FTZ sales/cash is put into the company’s bank account.
Keeps receipts for all VAT transactions for timely VAT returns.
Receiving cash on all counter sales completed that day and depositing it into our cash account by passing incoming entries.
Passing aftersales payment inputs.
Key Performance Indicators
Keeps customers informed and presents sales credits and post-dated cheques to the bank on schedule.
Collects all aftersales receivables.
Required Profile Technical Skills:
Candidates need an HND or Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum 3-year job experience.
Strong analytical and detail-oriented talents
Relationship management endurance
Plan, prioritize, organize, and follow up well.
Strong time management and task management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and report preparation.
Proficient computer abilities (Microsoft Office, SAP, Word, Excel, Power Point).
