1.)?Laboratory Technician

Job Description

  • To ensure that our products meet the company / industry quality specifications and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducts and Ensures correctness of quality tests on products.
  • Reviews the blending process to ensure the integrity of product formulations.
  • Plans for and implements periodic and routine testing of product samples.
  • Maintains a log of test records on products and identifies the need for quality and standards improvement.
  • Receives feedback and complaints on products quality and ensures that they are addressed.
  • Conducts customer quality satisfaction survey and presents findings and recommendations to the head, Q/AC
  • Ensures that laboratory equipment and tools are appropriately calibrated and checked to maintain accuracy and reliability.
  • Coordinates the Quality Assurance Process/ Documentation Review Update
  • Liaises with quality control regulatory agencies.
  • Maintains records of quality assurance activities for reference and audits.

Requirements

  • Minimum of B.Sc Degrees in any related discipline (Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering etc.)
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in the quality assurance department of an organization in the oil & gas industry with preference for petrochemical products and lubricants.

2.)?Admin & Protocol Executive

Description

  • The role is responsible for the provision, management, and maintenance of the company?s fleet of vehicles, equipment, and assets essential for oil and gas operations. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and organizational skills to facilitate efficient operations within the company and interface with external bodies.

Responsibility

  • Acts as a liaison between the organization and embassies, airlines, and travel agents to process travel documents and purchase airline tickets for all official trips within and outside the country.
  • Oversees activities of the organization?s pool cars and drivers, responding promptly to cases of delinquency, accidents, and other emergencies and escalating issues where necessary to management.
  • Liaises with insurance companies and regulatory bodies to ensure prompt renewal of licenses and insurance for vehicles.
  • Liaises with the procurement officer for prompt purchase of vehicle accessories and manages the fueling for the organization?s pool cars.
  • Liaises with vendors/external maintenance workers to negotiate cost-effective rates for vehicle maintenance.
  • Oversees the deployment and scheduling of vehicles and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Oversees the renewal of vehicle papers and licenses.
  • Supervises drivers, movement logs, leave management, welfare, etc.
  • Other administrative jobs as may be assigned by the Head of Human Resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years? experience on the job and in a relevant administrative role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficient in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

3.)?Tax Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • To ensure compliance with all tax legislation and minimize tax liabilities within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leads the Tax planning process and ensures that tax liabilities and exposures are minimized.
  • Provides internal tax advisory services to business divisions and departments to ensure tax efficiency e. g Payroll structuring.
  • Oversees the preparation of all applicable tax computations e.g., CIT, WHT, VAT, PAYE etc.
  • Puts in place measures and liaises with relevant colleagues to ensure prompt processing and remittance of tax payments and the reconciliation of all tax accounts.
  • Keeps up to date with current industry tax practices and regulations and proactively advises management as appropriate.
  • Sets up an effective tax record management, update, and reporting process and drives execution.
  • Ensures that receipts and clearance certificates due to Rainoil and/or employees are collected for all tax payments.
  • Conducts regular in-house tax reviews and oversees the preparation of tax self-assessments.
  • Responds to and ensures adequate follow-up to resolve tax queries from the Tax authorities.
  • Liaises with and monitors the performance of retained tax consultants on tax issues and reports to the Group Head – Finance as appropriate.
  • Reviews the computation of royalties and technical fees as required.

Qualification Required

  • ?Minimum of a B.Sc in Finance / Accounting or any related discipline
  • Professional certifications: Taxation: Chartered Institute of Taxation in Nigeria (CITN) or any recognized international equivalent and ACA – Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or ACCA – Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years combined consultancy and/or functional Tax experience including specialization within the Oil & Gas industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Observe and record Pump meter opening and closing readings.
  • Dispense gas into customer cylinders based on signed Payment ticket/slip.
  • Monitor and report any over-dispensing error or equipment malfunction to the Plant Supervisor or manager and raise requisition for replacement where necessary.
  • Ensure safe operations in the dispensing area in line with the HSE guidelines.

Person Specification

  • Minimum of OND in Engineering, Social Science or any related course; as well as a vocational /Technical aptitude.
  • Experience in a similar role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the availability of funds to meet day-to-day operational petty cash expenses and emergencies.
  • Maintain records to allow easy disbursement, reconciliation, and replenishment.
  • Process expense retirement ledgers to ensure proper accountability of all cash advances.
  • Create and maintain records of cash requests and disbursements.
  • Reconcile all received cash, which has been recorded in the petty cash book, with expenses.
  • Process payment for accounts and issue receipts.
  • Keep records of amounts received and paid, and regularly check the cash balance against this record.
  • Collect money from the bank for safekeeping before reimbursements.
  • File all documents concerning cash payment and collection.
  • Respond to queries regarding approvals, payment limits and deadlines for retirements, etc.
